RPG - Role Playing Games

Role playing games (RPGs) share many similarities with computer RPGs, yet they offer a completely unique experience. Think of an RPG as a series where players are both the actors and the screenwriters. Games often take place in fantasy worlds filled with powerful magic, clashing weapons, strange creatures, monsters, and mysterious locations, with players serving as the protagonists of these adventures.

You don't need costumes or physical acting to play. Simply describe what your character says or does. One player takes on the role of the Dungeon Master (narrator, guide, etc.) and describes the surroundings and events to the rest of the group.

RPGs are cooperative—players act as a party, working together to navigate the story. The Dungeon Master isn't an opponent, but a guide. RPGs have no definitive end. When one story or quest concludes, another can begin. Players often meet regularly to continue their journey, with their adventurers growing more powerful over time. Every defeated monster and discovered treasure advances the story and grants the adventurers new abilities.

You don't win or lose in the traditional sense. Players work together to create a thrilling story about bold adventurers facing deadly threats. The party doesn't even have to succeed in their quest—if everyone had fun and created an unforgettable story, that's all that matters!
