Did you know that mead from beekeepers has been considered a source of life, wisdom, and strength since ancient times, and was served primarily to heroes and warriors? The ancient Celts, Dacians, and Lombards knew how to keep bees and likely how to produce mead as well. At one time, it was the most basic and widespread fermented beverage in our lands. Even before the Hussite Wars, you could find refreshment and buy mead from three types of tavern keepers: wine sellers, beer sellers, or mead sellers.
All the meads we offer are produced using the classic cold method, meaning no added alcohol and no artificial food coloring.
