Everything a modern or old-school geek needs under one roof. From epic board games and collectible merch to hand-stitched LARP gear. We are imago – the heart of the Czech geek community since 2005. 💚

How it all began

Back in 2005, we were just fans of LARP and fantasy battles, and we started the shop simply because you couldn't find decent gear or costumes back then. As fantasyobchod.cz, we started making and selling equipment for LARPers. Our entire stock fit into one old grandfather's suitcase. Even then, we dreamed of covering everything related to fantasy and sci-fi.

Back then, fandom was a very intimate affair with a touch of conspiracy. We devoured The Witcher, The Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones from dog-eared, hard-to-find books that we borrowed from each other. But we were persistent.

Soon, we started selling board games, RPGs, and hand-painted t-shirts (merchandising for fantasy and sci-fi universes wasn't nearly as common as it is today). We dove into books, wargaming, and discovered one hobby after another. As we slowly grew, fantasy itself began to dominate pop culture.
