How many parts does The Lord of the Rings have?

The Lord of the Rings is a book trilogy – the first part is called The Fellowship of the Ring, followed by The Two Towers, and the third part is The Return of the King. There are also three films of the same name that faithfully follow the plot of the books.

Middle-earth is full of heroic characters, epic weapons, and powerful magical items and jewelry. Among the most famous items and replicas are undoubtedly: - The One Ring – the legendary piece of jewelry forged by Sauron to gain dominion over the other Rings of Power.

• Andúril – Aragorn's sword, reforged from the shards of Narsil, the sword of Elendil himself.
• Sting – a short sword used on his adventures first by Bilbo Baggins and later inherited by Frodo.
• Gandalf's Staff – the magical staff of the most famous of the Istari, the wizard Gandalf the Grey.

What is The Silmarillion about?

The Silmarillion tells of the creation of the world by Ilúvatar, the origin of Middle-earth, its mythology, and the beginnings of sentient beings – elves, men, dwarves, and hobbits.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

The most expensive series produced by Amazon tells a story set in the Second Age of Middle-earth. Although it features characters and heroes from Tolkien's work, it does not copy the plot of any officially published book. It therefore has nothing to do with The Silmarillion. It follows the story of Galadriel and other famous heroes from the history of Middle-earth during the time when the Rings of Power and Sauron's legendary One Ring were forged.

How many Rings of Power were there?

A total of twenty great Rings of Power were forged. Nine of them went to the rulers of men, seven were given to the dwarves, and three rings were hidden by the elves after they discovered that Sauron had secretly forged the One Ring, also known as the Ruling Ring or Isildur's Bane. The Elven rings are named Nenya, Narya, and Vilya.
