Who we are and how to contact us

We are imago tribe s.r.o., located at Lumírova 536/54, 70030 Ostrava, Company ID: 06020933.

If you have any questions or need to resolve anything regarding your personal data, email us at info@imago.cz or call us at +420 774 421 641.

You can send mail to our address: K Myslivně 2362/9, Ostrava, 70080.

What data we process and why

We mainly process your identification and contact details (such as name, address, email, phone number) that you provide when placing an order or communicating with us. Without this data, we could not provide our services or goods to you.

We need your data primarily for the following purposes:

  • Order processing and contract fulfillment – so we can deliver what you ordered and handle everything related to the contract.
  • Direct marketing – so we can send you offers, news, and newsletters. If you are our customer, we may send you messages with offers for similar goods or services even without your explicit consent. However, every such message always includes an option to easily unsubscribe.
  • Improving our services – so we know what interests you and can offer you better services.
  • Fulfilling legal obligations – when required by law.

We may also obtain some data from public sources or third parties if necessary for contract fulfillment or legal obligations.

On what basis we process your data

  • Contract fulfillment – when you order something from us, it is impossible without this data.
  • Legitimate interest – for example, for direct marketing.
  • Your consent – if we need it, we will always ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time.
  • Fulfilling legal obligations – when required by law.

How long we keep your data

  • We keep data necessary for order processing for the duration of the contract and for 5 years thereafter due to potential claims and legal disputes. By law, we must keep accounting and tax documents for 10 years.
  • We keep data for marketing based on consent until you withdraw it, for a maximum of 30 years.
  • After these periods, we securely delete your data.

Who has access to your data

  • We only share your data with those who help us with the delivery of goods/services, e-shop operation, marketing, or payments.
  • If necessary, we may transfer your data outside the EU (e.g., to cloud or mailing service providers), but only to those who meet the GDPR requirements for personal data protection.
  • If we transfer data outside the EU, we only do so if the recipient ensures an adequate level of protection – for example, based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission or by using standard contractual clauses.

Automated decision-making

We occasionally use automated data processing (e.g., for targeting offers). If this were to have legal or similarly significant effects on you, we will always inform you in advance and ask for your consent.

Chatbot and Artificial Intelligence

We use an AI-powered chatbot on our website. Here is an overview of what happens with your messages.

  • What we process: Your message, page URL, and login status. If logged in, we also process your name or email so the chatbot can address you and find your orders. The chatbot only retrieves details about claims or returns after verification. Simply log in or provide your order number and email or zip code.
  • Who we share it with: Messages are processed by Google's Gemini model. It acts as our processor. Data may travel outside the EU. However, it is always protected by standard contractual clauses, just like other cloud services.
  • How long we keep it: The conversation lives only in your browser. Close the window and it disappears. You can also delete it manually using the trash icon. If you rate the response with a thumbs-up icon, we save a shortened record to improve the chatbot. We delete it after 14 days. We do not link it to your account.
  • Why we do it: The chatbot speeds up customer care. We operate it based on legitimate interest. We want to provide you with better support.
  • What to watch out for: Do not type passwords, card numbers, or sensitive personal data into the chat. It is not intended for that. Take AI responses with a grain of salt. For binding matters, our Terms and Conditions apply. Alternatively, contact us directly.

How we handle cookies

A cookie is a short text file that our website sends to your browser. It allows us to remember information about your visit, your cart, and your settings. We store cookies either directly (first-party cookies) or via our partners like Google, Seznam, or Facebook (third-party cookies).

What types of cookies are there?

  • Session cookies: These are deleted when you close your browser. They are stored only during your visit.
  • Permanent cookies: These remain on your device for a set period. They help us, for example, to recognize you on your next visit or pre-fill your login details.

On our website, we display a cookie banner where you can choose which cookies to allow. We always use necessary cookies; for others (statistical and marketing), you give us consent by actively checking the option.

What cookies do we use and why?

  • Necessary cookies: We need these for the website to function correctly (e.g., cart, login). These cookies are always active, and we do not need your consent for them.
  • Statistical cookies: These help us improve the website by tracking how you use it. We need your consent to use them.
  • Marketing cookies: These allow us and our partners to show you relevant offers and ads. We also need your consent to use them.

Who else can use cookies?

Our partners also use cookies on our website, for example:

Third-party cookies are governed by the privacy policies of these partners. They may link your data with other information you provide to them or that they collect when you use their services.

  • You can adjust cookie settings directly in your browser. You can delete them, disable them, or allow only some of them.
  • If you do not want cookies to be used for advertising, you can also change this in the settings of individual providers (e.g., Google, Seznam, Facebook).
  • You can also switch your browser to incognito mode – in that case, cookies are deleted after you close the browser.
  • If you disable all cookies, some parts of our website may not function correctly.

Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • know what data we have about you and what we do with it,
  • request correction or completion of your data,
  • request deletion of your data if we no longer need it,
  • restrict the processing of your data,
  • object to the processing (e.g., against marketing),
  • request the transfer of your data to another controller,
  • withdraw your consent to data processing (if we process it based on consent).

Just email us at info@imago.cz or write to our postal address.

If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint directly with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz). We may not always be able to comply with some requests (e.g., deletion) if the law requires us to keep the data (e.g., accounting documents).

How we protect your data

We use modern technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. Only our authorized employees and partners who need the data for their work have access to it.

When terms change

We may change these terms from time to time. You will always find the new version on our website, and we will notify you by email if necessary. These terms become effective on September 20, 2025.

If anything is unclear, write to us. We are happy to explain everything simply and clearly.
