Like all D&D adventures, I used this one for inspiration too. Naturally, you need to know English and understand the rules. The story itself involves a lot of improvisation from the DM, and the narrative is quite modular—you can easily skip a lot of content or fill it with something else instead.
The individual encounters are so well-crafted that you can even use them separately in a different campaign.

Jako všechny D&D adventures jsem i toto použil k inspiraci. Člověk samozřejmě musí umět anglicky a znát pravidla. Příběh jako takový zahrnuje spoustu improvizace ze strany PJe a celkově příběh je dost modulární, kde se spousta obsahu dá snad vynechat, nebo naopak zaplnit něčím jiným.
Jednotlivé encountery jsou tak propracované, že se dají využít i samostatně do jiné kampaně.

One of the most highly acclaimed adventures that leads heroes through the Underdark, culminating in a battle against several demon lords. It’s labeled as survival horror because a significant portion of the first half takes place under harsh conditions without food or water, with a drow party hot on your heels.

Keep in mind that this adventure requires more preparation from the DM. Much of it takes place in tunnels between underground cities, and you have to rely on random encounters for level advancement. Some chapters are also poorly structured (like chapter 4, about the city of Gracklstugh), so you'll need to organize things yourself or read one of the many adventure guides available online.

Even so, I would definitely recommend this adventure. It offers a pretty unconventional experience for D&D.

Jedno z nejlepe ocenenych dobrodruzstvi, ktere provede hrdiny Underdarkem a vyvrcholi bitvou proti nekolika lordam demonu. Zanr je oznaceny jako survival horror, a to kvuli tomu, ze znacna cast prvni pulky se hraje ve stizenych podminkach bez jidla a vody, s cetou drow v patach.

Musi se dat pozor na to, ze toto dobrodruzstvi vyzaduje od PJ vetsi samostatnou pripravu. Vetsi cast se odehrava v tunelech mezi podzemnimi mesty, a pro level advancement se musi spolehat na nahodne strety. Nektere kapitoly jsou taky velmi spatne strukturovane (treba kapitola 4., o meste Gracklstugh) a je potreba si v tom udelat vlastni poradek nebo precist jeden z nekolika pruvodcu dobrodruzstvim, ktere jsou k nalezeni online.

I presto bych to dobrodruzstvi urcite doporucil. Nabizi pro dnd docela nestandardni zazitek.

This adventure takes you into the dark Underdark, where players must first escape the drow and then try to find their way back to the surface. However, the Underdark hides many secrets and dangers. The book is well-written and beautifully illustrated. I definitely recommend it.

Adventúra vás zavedie do temného underdarku odkiaľ hráči najskôr musia uniknúť temným elfom a následne sa pokúsiť nájsť cestu späť na povrch. Underdark však skrýva mnohé tajomnstvá a nebezpečenstvá. Knižka je dobre napísané a krásne ilusrovaná. Rozhodne odporúčam.

An adventure better suited for experienced DMs and players. I'm missing some pre-made maps here (like in Icewind Dale). It also lacks an introduction or overview, so you have to find your own way through everything.

Personally, I plan to use it mainly for the information about the Underdark and demons.

Dobrodružství spíše pro zkušené DM i hráče. Chybí mi tu nějaké předpřipravené mapy (jako třeba v Icewind Dale). Chybí i nějaký úvod nebo přehled, takže se v tom všem musí člověk zorientovat úplně sám.

Osobně z něj plánuju použít hlavně informace o Underdark a démonech.

This campaign is basically an excuse to head into the Underdark and fight demon lords.
And there's nothing wrong with that—sure, the story isn't great and it loses steam toward the end, but most of the combat encounters are well-designed, the setting is incredibly interesting, and everything has an epic atmosphere. This adventure literally begs the DM to make changes, tweak things, and take only what fits and seems interesting. Definitely recommended.

Tahle kampaň je jakousi výmluvou k tomu, abychom šli do Underdark a bojovali s démonickými pány.
A na tom není nic špatného-ano příběh neni příliš dobrý a hlavně na konci ztrácí páru, ale většina bojů je velmi dobře promyšlená, prostředí je neskutečně zajímavé a všechno má neskutečně epickou atmosféru. Tohle dobrodružství doslova na kolenou prosí DM (PJ), aby prováděli změny a úpravy a brali si jen to, co se hodí a bude zajímavé. Určitě doporučuji.

If you're just starting out and don't know the character Drizzt, the Underdark might be a bit tricky. However, if you're not a newcomer, I definitely recommend it. It contains some very interesting demons from the world of the Underdark.

Overall, this manual is more demanding on the DM's skills.

Pokud začínáté a neznáte postavu Drizzt a Underdark může být mírně zapeklité. Pokud však nejse nováčci určitě doporučuji. Obsahuje velim zajímavé démony ze světa Underdark.

Celkově je tato příručka náročnějsí na schopnosti DM.

We return to the Forgotten Realms for an adventure that drags heroes into these grim and dangerous depths. This adventure is designed for characters levels 1–15. Will they return from their journey, or will their bones be added to the piles of those who failed in the Underdark?
That is entirely up to the players. As always, the book is high-quality and contains everything you need for the adventure. It is a joy to flip through.

Znovu se dostáváme k dobrodružství ve světě Forgotten Realms, které zavede dobrodruhy do těchto ponurých a nebezpečných míst. Dobrodružství je určeno pro postavy od 1–15 úrovně. Ale vrátí se ze své pouti nebo jejich kosti budou přidány na hromady těch, kteří v Podtemnu neuspěli?
To je už jenom na hráčích samotných. Kniha je – jako již tradičně – kvalitně zpracovaná a obsahuje vše, co budete pro dané dobrodružství potřebovat. Je radost v ní vždy listovat.
