Dungeons & Dragons: Tomb of Annihilation is an adventure for the fifth edition of this legendary RPG. It includes a large map of the Chult region from the Forgotten Realms setting.

The talk of the streets and taverns has all been about the so-called death curse: a wasting disease afflicting everyone who's ever been raised from the dead. Victims grow thinner and weaker each day, slowly but steadily sliding toward the death they once denied.
When they finally succumb, they can't be raised—and neither can anyone else, regardless of whether they've ever received that miracle in the past. Temples and scholars of divine magic are at a loss to explain a curse that has affected the entire region, and possibly the entire world.
The cause is a necromantic artifact called the Soulmonger, which is located somewhere in Chult, a mysterious peninsula far to the south, ringed with mountains and choked with rainforests.

I have to admit, it’s a bit of a shock to be trekking through jungles and fighting dinosaurs in D&D. Luckily, it’s a very pleasant shock because this campaign is fantastic.
The whole region has an amazing atmosphere, and even though I’m not the biggest fan of the original Tomb of Horrors that inspired the final dungeon, this campaign doesn't fall into the same traps as the original. Yes, danger lurks around every corner, but it never feels unfair.
Musím přiznat, že je trochu šokem, když v DnD se pohybujeme v pralesech a bojujeme s dinosaury. Naštěstí je to šok velmi příjemný, protože tahle kampaň je skvělá.
Celá oblast má úžasnou atmosféru a přestože nejsem největší fanoušek originálního Tomb of Horrors, které inspirovalo finální dungeon, tak tato kampaň nepadla do těch samých pastí jako originál. Ano nebežpečí číhá za každým rohem, ale není nefér.
Inspired by the classic Tomb of Horrors. They definitely perfected the story; if I had to choose just one adventure, this would be my top pick.

Tomb of Annihilation is an exotic expedition to the southern lands of Chult in the Forgotten Realms setting. It’s definitely a refreshing change from constantly adventuring along the Sword Coast.
In this adventure (for levels 1-11), you'll encounter many exotic monsters you wouldn't find anywhere else but the jungles of Chult.
And as usual, the book is richly illustrated and includes a practical color map to help you navigate the adventure with ease.
Tomb of Annihilation je exotickou výpravou do jižních zemí Chultu ve světě Forgotten Realms. A je to určitě příjemná změna, než stále a jen zažívat dobrodružství na Mečovém pobřeží (Swoard Coast).
V tomto dobrodružství (pro postavy na 1-11 úrovni) narazíte na mnoho exotičtějších monster, na které byste jinde, než v džunglích Chultu nenarazili.
A samozřejmě, jak už je ve zvyku, tak je kniha bohatě ilustrovaná a nechybí praktická barevná mapa, pro přehlednější práci s dobrodružstvím.
