In my opinion, Eberron is one of the best D&D settings Wizards of the Coast has ever created. It is an original steampunk world where many classic races are viewed from a different perspective—their cultures evolved quite differently on Eberron. Halflings are mostly nomads traveling the world on dinosaurs. Orcs aren't just an aggressive race driven by the wrath of the god Gruumsh. On the contrary, they are a much more complex race, willing to accept and cooperate with others. They have a strong connection to nature and a deep spirituality. Expect the unexpected.
The new Artificer class is a lot of fun, and it's almost certain that at least one of your players will want to try it out.
Patrons are a welcome bonus. Eberron lets you choose a patron for your group. Options include criminal organizations, investigative agencies, universities, newspapers, or even immortal beings. A chosen patron can give your group a sense of shared purpose right from the start of the campaign and regularly provide you with interesting quests.
The book also includes a poster map of Khorvaire.
Eberron je dle mého jeden z nejlepších světů, které společnost Wizards of the Coast k DnD zpracovali. Mají silný vztah k přírodě a duchovní cítění.
