All adventures have been faithfully adapted to the fifth edition rules of Dungeons & Dragons. Furthermore, this book includes details on the port town of Saltmarsh, as well as plenty of hooks to kick-off each adventure. Play through each story in a seafaring campaign leading characters from level 1 through level 12, or pull out sections to place in ongoing campaigns in any setting. The appendices also cover mechanics for ship-to-ship combat, new magic items, monsters, and more!

From my perspective: The owner of this book hasn't put it down for over 10 hours and is clearly already plotting how to use everything for their adventure. I can only rate the content as highly engaging.
From the owner's perspective: They really love the production quality, the illustrations, and the ability to connect all seven adventures into a single campaign, while also being able to follow up with adventures from Tales of the Yawning Portal.
They especially appreciate the expanded backgrounds, which allow you to directly tie a character's backstory to Saltmarsh or its surroundings (politically, the fishing town of Saltmarsh is very interesting, and these enriched backgrounds better connect players to the political schemes ruling the town.)
Z mého pohledu: Vlastník této knihy se od ní už přes 10 hodin neodtrhl a očividně už spřádá plány jak všechno využít pro své dobrodružství. Obsah tedy mohu hodnotit jedině jako velice zajímavý.
Z pohledu vlastníka knihy: Velice se mu líbí zpracování, ilustrace a možnost spojení všech sedmi dobrodružství do jedné kampaně a zároveň možnost navázat na tato dobrodružství dalšími z Tales of the Yawning Portal.
Velmi oceňuje rozšíření backgroundů, které přímo umožňují zasadit backstory postavy do oblasti Saltmarsh nebo jejího okolí (politicky je rybářské město Saltmarch velice zajímavé a tyto obohacené backgroundy lépe spojí hráče s politickými čachry, které ve městě vládnou.)
The main draw of this book is the rules for underwater combat and a few new aquatic monsters. All the campaigns are revamped classic adventures. According to the people I've spoken with who played these original adventures, the modernization is excellent.
The limited edition cover, while nice, doesn't pack the same punch as the others.
Hlavním tahákem téhle knihy jsou pravidla pro biój na vodě a pár nových podvodních monster. Všechny kampaně jsou přepracovaná stará dobrodružství. podle lidí se kterými jsem mluvil, a kteří tato stará dobrodružství hráli, tak je jejich modernizace excelentní.
Desky limitované edice, ač pěkné, nemají takovou sílu jako ostatní.
