The aesthetics are amazing, but there's a bit too little content. Luckily, I'm the kind of DM who likes to flesh out campaign details myself. As a player, however, I'd be slightly disappointed, as Spelljammer has huge potential for new subclasses and spells. Overall, the product feels a bit rushed. The verdict is that Spelljammer will be appreciated mainly by DMs and players who are into astral ships.

Estetika je úžasná, ale obsahu je akosi primálo. Našťastie som ten typ DM, ktorý si sám rád domýšľa veci do kampane. Ako hráč by som bol ale mierne sklamaný, nakoľko spelljammer má obrovský potenciál na nové subclassy a spelly. Celkovo sa mi zdá produkt trochu uponáhľaný. Verdikt je, že Spelljammer ocenia najmä DMs a hráči čo si potrpia na astrálne lode.

Let's start with the good—the art and prose are of competent quality, just like in all modern D&D products.
The campaign has plenty of interesting ideas.
The bad—this set could have been a single book, which would have been cheaper. There is objectively little game material, and overall, it's a missed opportunity.
I would still recommend the set, but we're getting close to the territory where I'd check 'no'. Let's hope the Planescape adaptation is better.

Začnu tím dobrým-obrázky a próza jsou, jako ve všech moderních DnD produktech kompetentní kvality.
Kampaň má spoustu zajímavých nápadů.
To špatné-tenhle set mohl být jednou knihou a vyšlo by to levněji, herního materiálu je objektivně málo a celkově se jedná o nevyužitý potenciál.
Stále bych set doporučil, ale blížíme se do teritoria, kdybych zaškrtnul ne. Doufejme, že adaptace Planescape bude lepší.

I ordered this as a gift for a friend and I'm happy with the quality. My friend was really pleased too. I recommend it, if only because it's a great way to spice up D&D and offers so much new content for character creation. Plus, the alternate art is perfect.

Objednal som ako darček pre kamaráta a som spokojný z kvalitou. Kamarát bol moc spokojný. Odporúčam, už iba z dôvodu že je veľmi dobré spestrenie dnd a ponúka to mnoho nového do tvorby postavy. A alternatívny art je dokonalý.

I absolutely love that hamster. And even though the presence of this little rodent should be motivation enough to buy this sourcebook, I'll try to elaborate a bit more.

These books are truly stunning in terms of graphic design; the visuals really need to be highlighted because they stand out from many other manuals. As for the content, although it's similar to 2E, this adventure is adapted for 5E. Spelljammer brings 6 new races and about 40 monsters to the game. It features the amazing influence of the Astral Sea on everyone who lives in it or travels through it. The only slight disappointment is the lack of ship-to-ship combat rules, so don't expect a reworked 2E, but for me, that definitely doesn't take away from the beauty and usability of these books.

Nadešel čas na tajemnou magickou cestu Astrálním mořem. Ale v prvé řadě, Boo! Prostě pro fanoušky BG nelze nezmínit hned na začátku. Já prostě toho křečka miluju. A i když by přítomnost tohoto malého hlodavce měla býti dostatečnou motivací pro zakoupení této příručky, tak přeci jenom zkusím se ještě trochu rozepsat.

Jedná se opravdu o graficky nádherně zpracované příručky, opravdu grafická část je něco co je zde potřeba zdůraznit, protože proti spoustě příruček opravdu vyčnívá. Co se obsahu týče, tak ačkoli podobné 2E, tak je toto dobrodružství uzpůsobeno 5E. Spelljammer přináší do hry 6 nových ras, asi 40 potvor. Úžasný vliv Astrálního moře na všechny, kteří v něm žijí, či skrze něj cestují. Jediné z čeho je menší zklamaní, nejsou zde bitvy lodí, tudíž opravdu nečekejte přepracovanou 2E, ale za mě to rozhodně na kráse a použitelnosti těchto příruček neubírá,

Spelljammer captivated me from the very first moment, so I was thrilled when it was announced for the fifth edition. This set brings us a basic overview of the Astral Sea and Wildspace, visually stunning new races (giff forever), and new monsters. I haven't had time to play the adventure itself yet, but based on a preliminary read-through, it's a very interesting romp that will pull you into the universe. I personally plan to run it after my first homebrew adventure.

I'll probably tweak the Spelljammer combat rules a bit to my liking, but I definitely can't fault the visuals, which I think turned out great (both the map and the DM screen).

I can recommend this product with a clear conscience.

Už od prvního okamžiku mě Spelljammer uchvátil a proto jsem byl nadšen, když byl oznámen pro pátou edici Set nám přináší jak základní rozhlédnutí po Astrálním Oceánu a Divokém Vesmíru, tak nové, alespoň vizuálně nádherné rasy (giff forever) tak i nová monstra Samotné dobrodružství jsem ještě neměl čas hrát, ovšem podle předběžného pročtení se jedná o velice zajímavou taškařici, co vás vtáhne do univerza, osobně ho plánuji dát až po prvním homebrew dobrodružství

Samotné boje mezi Spelljammery si nejspíš trochu doladím po svém, ale co rozhodně nemůžu setu vytknout jsou vizuály, které se za mě opravdu povedly (jak mapa, tak DM screen)
