Dungeons and Dragons: Reincarnated DM Screen

A great DM screen that isn't tied to any specific adventure, featuring general information that helps every DM. Plus, a stunning Red Dragon illustration. For me, it's number one on the market.

A really nice screen featuring a red dragon. It has a glossy finish and vibrant colors. The other side contains info on monster sizes, travel distances, and a list of conditions a character can suffer (stunned, deafened, blinded...). Definitely useful. Everything is in English.

The only thing I'd point out is that the screen isn't as tall as I expected. Still, it's wide enough for a DM to spread out all their necessary documents behind it.

Moc pěkná zástěna s obrázkem červeného draka, její povrch je lesklý a barvy jsou syté. Na druhé straně jsou informace o velikostech monster, vzdálenostech na cestách a seznamem účinků, které postava obdržet (stunned, defeaned, blinded...). To se určitě hodí. Vše je v angličtině..

Jediné co bych asi vytknula, je, že zástěna není zase tak vysoká, jak bych čekala. Přesto je dost široká na to, aby si za ní DM mohl rozložit svoje potřebné dokumenty.

An absolute must-have for any DM who takes D&D seriously. A high-quality product that withstands even rougher handling (I've had it for two months, played two games, and there are no signs of damaged corners or creases), plus the surface is easy to clean with a damp cloth. It's also the perfect size. The DM can still see the players and keep track of the table, while keeping notes safely hidden behind the screen. And the red dragon artwork on the front is universal, fitting most D&D adventures.

Where this DM screen really shines is the back. DMs will find plenty of "everyday" essentials that make life much easier. From basic DC values and ability checks to status descriptions (from blinded to unconscious), combat actions, cover, exhaustion tables, and a basic price list for food and drinks. In short, information you need at every session, so you don't have to waste time searching through rulebooks or your own notes. The text is in English and readable even from a distance. Plus, you can stick notes directly onto the screen.

Absolútna povinnosť pre každého DM, ktorý to s DnD myslí vážne. Kvalitný výrobok, ktorý vydrží i trocha tvrdšie zaobchádzanie (mám ho dva mesiace, odohrané dve hry, žiadne známky poškodenia rohov či ohybov), navyše povrch sa dá čistiť navlhčenou handričkou. Taktiež rozmerovo ideálny. DM stále vidí na svojich hráčov a má prehľad o situácii na stole, ale svoje poznámky má bezpečne skryté za oponou. A obrázok červeného draka na prednej strane je univerzálny a hodí sa pre väčšinu DnD dobrodružstiev.

Kde ale tento DM screen vyniká je zadná strana. Dm tu nájde veľa "každodenných" vecí, ktoré mu výrazne uľahčia život. Od základných hodnôt DC a výpisu abilít sú to popísané statusy (od oslepenia po bezvedomie), akcie v rámci súbojov, krytie, tabuľka vyčerpania či základný cenník jedál a nápojov. Skrátka informácie, ktoré sa hodia pri každom sedení a DM nemusí strácať čas ich hľadaním v príručkách alebo svojich poznámkach. Texty sú v angličtine a čítateľné aj z väčšej diaľky. Navyše, na screen sa dajú lepiť papieriky s ďalšími poznámkami.

I definitely recommend this if you're a DM. It doesn't focus on any specific adventure, but rather on general rules alongside the PHB. A big plus is the DM screen cover featuring a magnificent red dragon.

Určitě doporučuji, pokud jste DM. Není zaměřen na žádné dobrodružství, ale na obecné pravidla s PHB. Plusem je i cover DM screenu, kde máte nádherného červeného draka.

I'm attaching a photo to show that the dimensions are just right to hide the GM's notes, miniatures, and other spoilers, but not the entire GM, which is a good thing. :)

Quality craftsmanship. The material isn't bulletproof or waterproof, but it can take a beating. (I spilled cola on the front and it wiped right off with a damp cloth.)

There are plenty of versions, mostly differing only in the design.

The front of this one (dragon) is nicely versatile in my opinion, and the back features tables, terms, statuses, and other information—in English. (For those playing D&D specifically, the target audience for these tables, this shouldn't be an issue :) )

Přidávám foto, že rozměry jsou tak akorát, aby se schovaly GMovy poznámky, figurky a další spoilery, ale ne celý GM, což je jen dobře. :)

Kvalitní zpracování, materiál není neprůstřelný nebo vodovzdorný ale něco vydrží. (Pocákání přední strany colou. Dá se otřít vlhkým hadříkem.)

Je spousta variant, liší se většinou jen motivem. Přední strana téhle (drak) je podle mého příjemně univerzální, zadní má tabulky, pojmy, statusy a další informace - v angličtině. (pro lidi co hrají konkrétně DD, pro které jsou tabulky určené by to neměl být problém :) )

Tento screen sa mi veľmi páči. Jeho spracovanie mi tiež vyhovuje. Verím, že počas hier mi dobre poslúži.

Výborná krycí deska jak pro začínající DM, tak pro pokročilé, všechny základní informace, které se často ve hře omílají, jsou uvnitř a z druhé strany je krásný obrázek draka, který se hodí do každé kampaně.

Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. It's a nice DM screen with all the essentials a DM needs from time to time, and if something's missing, I just stick my own notes on it.

Popravdě není co vytknout, je to pěkná DM screen se základními věcmi, které DM sem tam potřebuje, a když mi tam něco chybí, tak si tam prostě nalepím svoji věc.

It includes various effects and their impacts, what a character can do during their turn, prices for food and drink at the tavern, costs and travel times for different modes of transport, and more. Made of sturdy, high-quality material.

Nejklasičtější stěna, jenž není vázaná na žádný modul. Strana, kterou vidí hráči, vyobrazuje moc krásný obrázek draka. Vy, jako DM, zas na své straně máte užitečné drobnosti. Různé efekty a jaký mají vliv, co může během své iniciativy udělat postava, ceny za různé jídlo a pití v krčmě, cena za jednotlivé druhy přepravy a kolik to zaberu času a tak dále. Materiál je pevnější, moc krásně vypracované.
