The maps are cool, but the screen isn't very useful.

Pros: nice artwork on the outside, the screen is stable, and it includes a summary of fast and slow actions.

Cons: in my opinion, the information on the screen is useless, though that might be subjective. I just find these tables on a screen unnecessary:

• Summary of a typical adventure: invitation, preparations, journey, investigation, return. If any GM needs this outline in front of them, sorry, but you've got bigger problems.
  
• Animals: completely marginal information; I didn't even notice it in the rules. Here you have stats for boars, badgers, foxes, and other common forest creatures.
  
• NPC: a table with dice pools and health for generic NPCs. I would have found a list of 20 Scandinavian names more useful.
  
• Medical care: a decent overview, but it's missing healing via mementos, which is used most often.
  
• The third panel contains an overview of spells and curses that some vaesen can trigger. Useless for me—this is something I'd prepare in advance for a specific vaesen, but someone who improvises more might find it useful.
  
  

What's missing: sure, redundant stuff doesn't hurt that much, but it's a shame it takes up space for useful information. I'm missing these essential, or at least more interesting, things:

• fear test (how to perform it, what affects it, what happens on a failure)
  
• zones and distances
  
• weapon and gear stats (these could easily have taken up that third panel)
  
• bonuses for extra successes
  

Mapy jsou v pohodě, ale zástěna moc použitelná není.

Klady: pěkný obrázek zvenčí, zástěna je stabilní, obsahuje přehled rychlých a pomalých akcí.

Zápory: informace v zástěně jsou podle mě k prdu, ale to může být subjektivní. Mě prostě tyhle tabulky připadají na zástěně zbytečné:

• souhrn typického dobrodružství: pozvánka, přípravy, cesta, investigace, návrat. Pokud nějaký GM potřebuje mít před sebou tuhle osnovu, tak sorry, ale máte větší problém.
  
• Animals: naprosto okrajová informace, ani jsem si nevšiml, že je v pravidlech. Tady máte statistiky divočáků, jezevců, lišek a jiných běžných lesních stvoření.
  
• NPC: tabulka s počtem kostek a s životy pro generická NPC. Víc by se mi hodilo mít tam třeba 20 skandinávských jmen.
  
• Medical care: fajn přehled, ale chybí tam léčení pomocí mementa, které se používá nejčastěji.
  
• třetí panel obsahuje přehled kouzel a prokletí, které mohou vyvolat někteří vaesen. Pro mě zbytečné, tohle je něco, co bych si připravil předem pro konkrétního vaesena, ale někdo, kdo víc improvizuje, to může dobře využít.
  
  

Co chybí: jasně, nadbytečné věci až tak nebolí, ale špatné je, že zabírají místo užitečným informacím. Chybí pro mě tyto podstatné, nebo aspoň zajímavější, věci:

• fear test (jak se dělá, co ho ovlivňuje, co se stane, když selže)
  
• zóny a vzdálenosti
  
• stats zbraní a výbavy (ty klidně mohly zabírat ten třetí panel)
  
• bonusy za další úspěchy
  

One minus. The screen arrived bent from the inside. But it's something you can live with. The screen itself features a beautiful illustration of one of the Vaesen on the outside.
The inside contains some very useful game information. It also includes a double-sided map. On one side is the city of Uppsala, on the other a general map. The map is made of higher quality material, which I really appreciated.

Jeden mínus. Stěna dorazila ohnutá zevnitř. Ale dá se to přežít. Stěna sama o sobě je s moc krásnou ilustrací jednoho z Vaesen na vnější straně.
Na vnitřní jsou dost užitečné herní informace. Součástí je též oboustranná mapa. Na jedné straně je město Uppsala, na druhé celková mapa. Mapa má kvalitnější materiál, což jsem dost ocenil.
