The story behind the screen:

There are many dark places in the world. Places shrouded in terrifying rumors that are always best avoided. And because the struggle between good and evil never ends, new places full of chaos and ruin are constantly emerging.

One such place was unknowingly approached by the party of Drey Albersdorf, a wizard of the Blue Circle. He and his friends, the warrior Cronach and the gnome alchemist Levy, set out for the northern island of Galad. Amidst the chaos of a civil war, they were to infiltrate the abandoned Malendorf Cathedral and retrieve a holy relic. But no one knew what was waiting for them there.

When they arrived on the island, they were surprised by an ominous silence. It followed them for the entire three-day journey, during which they did not meet a single soul. They already suspected something was wrong. Their suspicion turned into certainty when they were ambushed by hordes of the undead in the night fog of the Malendorf cemetery. They lost Levy in an instant. Furthermore, Cronach was seriously wounded. The wizard struggled just to drag him to safety. Hiding in the shadow of an old tomb, they stared at the silhouette of the cathedral and considered their next move. When another monster appeared a few minutes later, Drey used the last of his energy to deal with it.

A quarter of a year later, another party was sent north to retrieve the relic and find out what happened.
