Cosplay Guide Part 2 - Patterns, Templates, and Measurements

Šárka and Ronne have started crafting a Machiko predator costume. But how do you make sure the costume fits perfectly and looks great? How do you take measurements correctly and prepare a pattern to transfer onto your material? It takes a bit of skill and a supply of plastic wrap!

In this preparation phase, you'll mostly be wrapping. Thanks to a simple trick, you can easily transfer your body measurements onto the material you'll be working with. The better you handle this step, the fewer problems you'll face later. If you plan the whole process correctly in advance, the actual production won't be complicated at all.
