Description
Following the success of unmanned rover missions, the United Nations established the Department of Mars Exploration and Development (DMED). The first colonists arrived on Mars in 2037, and in the decades following the founding of the Prime Base, private corporations began working to create a self-sustaining colony. As the chief astronaut for one of these corporations, you become a pioneer with the goal of building the largest and most advanced colony on Mars by fulfilling both DMED missions and your corporation's commercial interests.
Initially, you depend on supplies from Earth, requiring frequent travel between the Mars Space Station and the planet's surface. As the colony expands over time, your efforts will focus on building mines, power plants, water extractors, greenhouses, oxygen condensers, and shelters. Your goal is to create a self-sustaining colony independent of any Earth-based organization. To do this, you must understand the importance of water, air, electricity, and food—the essentials for survival.
Are you ready to take on humanity's greatest challenge yet?
In the economic board game On Mars, you strive to build a colony on the Red Planet. The game consists of several rounds, each divided into two phases: colonization and shuttle. The player who collects the most victory points wins.

A fantastic, complex, yet accessible Eurogame where the theme permeates every single action.
The components are high-quality, and the cardboard is unusually thick. This makes punching out the tokens a bit tricky—you need to be careful not to damage them, as the die-cuts aren't quite deep enough. I definitely recommend it.
Skvělá komplexní, nikoliv však složitá, eurovka protknutá tématem do poslední akce.
Komponenty kvalitní, kartón neobvykle silný, s čímž je i spojené obtížnější vyloupání - aby nedošlo k poškození žetonů - výřez totiž není dostatečně hluboký/dotažený. Jednoznačně doporučuji.
