One of the best games I've ever played.
Nice graphics, high-quality components, and interesting mechanics. The rules are a bit tricky to get through and could definitely be written more clearly, but once you push past that phase, the game pulls you in and before you know it, you're already counting points.
The game is quite confrontational; over time, the map gets too small and opponents can take the spots you wanted. (Similar to Catan, but in Brass, opponents expand much faster).
An interesting element is using your opponents' resources, which sometimes helps a lot but can also really mess up your plans. I definitely recommend it. The game is language-independent, so if you don't speak English, just download the rules in Czech.

Pekna grafika, kvalitne spracovanie, zaujimave mechaniky. Trosku zlozitejsie je sa preluskat pravidlami, urcite by mohli byt napisane aj zrozumitelnejsie, ale ked sa cez tuto fazu preluskate, hra vas vtiahne a ani sa nenazdate a uz budete ratat body.
Hra je dost konfliktna, casom je mapka priliz mala a superi vam mozu obsadit vami chcene policka. (Podobne ako v osadnikoch avsak v hre brass sa supery roztahuju ovela rychlejsie).
Zaujimavym prvkom hry je vyuzivanie superovych zdrojov, co obcas velmi pomoze ale na druhej strane to vie dost pokazit plany. Urcite odporucam, hra je jazykovo nezavysla, pre neanglictinarov staci stiahnut pravidla v cesrtine.

A fantastic eurogame that didn't climb to 3rd place on the BGG rankings by accident.

Skvělá euro hra, která není na 3. místě žebříčku BGG jen tak náhodou.

A challenging, highly strategic game. It plays best with a full group of 4 players. The graphic design is beautiful, even if it is quite dark.
The downside is the long setup time, especially if one player has to prepare everything alone.

Težší velmi strategická hra. Nejlepší asi v plném počtu 4 hráčů. Pěkně graficky zpracovaná, ikdyž je dosti tmavá.
Nevýhodou hry je delší setup, obzvlášť když hru připravuje jeden hráč.
