We've played Brass: Birmingham a lot. It's an excellent game.

Why am I writing this for Lancashire? Because it's very similar in many ways.
The original Brass serves as an interesting alternative if you want a break from Birmingham but still want to play something familiar :)

There are slightly fewer strategies and paths, and it's perhaps easier to block someone, but it remains a relentless industrial competition.

Hráli jsme Brass: Birmingham hodně. Je to výborná hra.

Proč to píši u Lancashire?

A great, complex game! Polished mechanics. It can drag a bit with four players. Regardless, I highly recommend it.

Skvělá komplexnější hra! Vyladěné mechanismy. Ve čtyřech hráčích se může trochu natáhnout. Každopádně doporučuji.

The lesser-known but equally brilliant sibling of Brass: Birmingham. If you find Birmingham's lack of scaling for different player counts frustrating, you'll love this one. I find Lancashire better for two players. At full capacity, it feels a bit tighter, as you have fewer industry buildings available compared to Birmingham. Otherwise, the mechanics are top-notch. The games are similar enough to feel familiar, yet distinct enough to justify owning both.

The perfect game about the Industrial Revolution in England. Once you finish a game, you'll want to play again. Compared to its successor, Birmingham, Lancashire offers more cutthroat gameplay with fewer options. It's better suited for consistent gaming groups. If you still can't decide which version to get, buy both—it's worth it. Highly recommended.

Perfektní hra o průmyslové revoluci v Anglii. Dohrajete hru a chcete hrát dál. V porovnání s jeho následovníkem - Birmingham - Lancashire nabízí s méně možnostmi více cut throat game play. Hodí se tak spíše pro stále skupiny. Pokud stále ještě nevíte kterou verzi, kupte obě - stojí to za to. Vřele doporučuji.
