It explained the D&D rules beautifully. And if you're deciding between the standard and alt cover, you must be blind.

Krásně mi vysvětlilo pravidla DD. A pokud se rozhoduješ mezi normálním a alt. cover tak asi nemáš oči.

In my opinion, the new and revised 5e rules are very well done. Of course, it's not an entirely new edition, but the rulebook itself is much better organized. Some of the spell and class balancing is a bit odd, but I personally agree with almost all the changes. A big plus for me is having more subclasses available in the base game and a greater emphasis on character backgrounds, similar to the Pathfinder rules. If you're a new player, I highly recommend the 5.5e version. But even if you already have and are used to 5e, I'd still recommend buying the book, if only for your collection.

Nová a upravená pravidla 5e jsou v mém názoru velmi povedená, samozřejmě se nejedná o celou novou verzi ovšem co se týče samotného provedení rulebook tak má tato verze mnohem lepší přehlednost. Některé balancování kouzel a class jsou zvláštní, ale osobně souhlasím asi se všemi úpravami. Velký bonus za mě je v základu více subclass k dispozici a větší důraz na background postav, což je stejné jako například v pravidlech Pathfinder. Pokud jste tedy nový hráč tak vřele doporučuji 5.5e verzi, ale jestli již máte a jste zvyklí na 5e tak bych stále doporučil koupi knihy i kdyby jen do sbírky.

For me, this is a real step in the right direction. The manual looks great overall in terms of graphic design, but the main thing is the rule adjustments that benefit the game. For example, characters can now use their core features from level 1 (e.g., a paladin doesn't have to wait until level 3), the barbarian's rage system has been adjusted, and individual races have received significant updates, etc. At the same time, the manual also includes subclasses that were only released in later supplements.

But for me, the most important thing is that it's suddenly much clearer and more intuitive than the previous manual.

Za mě opravdu krok správným směrem. Celkově příručka vypadá skvěle, co se grafického kabátku týče, Ale to hlavní jsou úpravy pravidel, která jsou ku prospěchu hry. Např, že postavy mohou využívat své core vlastnosti od lvl 1 (např. paladin nemusí čekat až na lvl 3), upravený rage systém pro barbara, dost velký zásah dostaly i jednotlivé rasy apod. Zároveň v příručce jsou i sublasy, které vyšly až v následujících příručkách.

Ale pro mě to nejdůležitější je to, že najednou je to tak nějak více přehlednější a intuitivnější, než předešlá příručka.
