Books on Tolkien's Work

A beautifully crafted book that is a must-have for every Tolkien fan. The cover features spot UV varnish and silver reflective ink, creating striking effects. The large format is a great bonus.

A book that stands out from the rest of the Tolkien collection. If you're looking for a deeper insight into the world of Middle-earth, you'll find it, though perhaps not as much as you might hope. However, like any personal documents, Tolkien's letters reveal many more layers. For me, it is just as fascinating to delve into the secrets of the lands around the Misty Mountains as it is to follow the thoughts and creative processes that led to their birth, or to observe the dramatic history of the 20th century through Tolkien's own eyes.

From a formal perspective, this is a perfect piece of work; excellent translation and beautiful typesetting—a high-quality craft that we have come to expect from Argo when it comes to Tolkien's books.

The texts are engaging, the illustrations are stunning, and the melodies are quite catchy. I definitely recommend this to all fans of Middle-earth.

Texty jsou zajímavé, ilustrace nádherné a melodie dost chytlavé. Určitě doporučuji všem fanouškům Středozemě.

This brilliantly illustrated edition by a master author adds a whole new dimension to the stories.

Super ilustrované vydanie od brilantneho autora pridáva príbehom nový rozmer.

I only recently had the chance to read this book and I am absolutely blown away. I'm a huge Tolkien fan and have read everything he ever wrote multiple times. This book is amazing because it lets you peek behind the scenes. While reading, you'll be reminded of many things you already knew, and you'll discover things you never suspected. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Tolkien.

The book's graphic design is well-executed, especially the cover. As for the content, it's a bit weaker; it's more of a summary. If you're already at home in Middle-earth, this won't offer much in terms of new perspective.

A beautifully crafted cookbook. It doesn't feature photos of the dishes, but it includes charming minimalist illustrations on almost every page, along with images from the LOTR books. It's organized by meal of the day. The recipes are classic, and the ones I've tried are delicious. Every LOTR fan will surely love it.

Rozdelená do jednotlivých jedál dňa.
