As the title suggests, this book features Tolkien's own illustrations for The Hobbit. And they are stunning! I was pleased to find photographs of the original Hobbit cover and dust jacket, along with captions that provide broader context for the illustrations. All that's left to do is light your pipe and dive into the world of fantasy. :)

Potěšilo mě, že jsou obsaženy i fotografie desek a přebalu prvního vydání Hobita a popisky dávající ilustracím širší kontext.
Nezbývá nic než si zapálit dýmku a ponořit se do světa fantasie. :)
