The production of this game is stunning. The miniatures have great detail, the art is beautiful, and the entire game board (as well as the box) features a matte finish with raised glossy details (like the numbers on each board space). Gameplay-wise, it's a blast; as an agent, your heart pounds, you're full of adrenaline, and you hold your breath whenever a hunter is nearby... As a hunter, there's a great sense of satisfaction when you finally catch an agent and...

What I would definitely criticize is that I find it terribly overpriced (and I consider 4800 for Cthulhu Wars an adequate price). For nearly 1400, the box is just incredibly empty. It contains a standard-sized game board, a pad of paper, 8 miniatures + 8 slightly larger cards for them, less than 20 standard-sized cards, 2 plain black-and-white dice, and about 20 cardboard tokens. That's it.

Zpracování téhle hry je nádherné. Figurky mají skvělé detaily, art je krásný a celá herní deska (i krabice) jsou matné, s vystupujícími lesklými detaily (jako třeba číslo na každém políčku desky). Herně je hra velmi zábavná, za agenta vám buší srdce, jste plní adrenalinu a tajíte dech, když je nějaký hunter blízko... Za huntera je super ten pocit zadostiučinění, když konečně agenta chytíte a...

Co bych hře určitě vytkla, je to, že je podle mě strašně předražená (a to mi 4800 za Cthulhu wars přijdou jako adekvátní cena). Za skoro 1400 je krabice prostě strašně prázdná. Obsahuje herní desku standardní velikosti, blok papírů, 8 figurek + 8 trochu větších karet k nim, ani ne 20 karet standardní velikosti, 2 obyčejné černobílé kostky a tak 20 kartonových žetonků. Specter Ops aimed to fill the gap left in the board game market by Fury of Dracula (2nd ed.). It's a board game where 1-4 players hunt a hidden opponent across a map. Every player possesses special abilities, and each one is interesting without exception. Every player changes the rules of the game in such a way that the composition of agents and hunters dictates the pace and style of every turn. Do you have a tracker? You can spread out a bit. Do you have a sniper? Then you need to watch every intersection. The agent's special abilities also enrich and transform the game. Playing against a ninja? Better keep your distance. Playing against a gorilla? You need to hurry and wound the agent as soon as possible, otherwise you risk them simply running past you in the final stages of the game, bullets or no bullets. Specter Ops is the ideal hidden-movement game, which adds special abilities compared to Letters from Whitechapel and, unlike the newly released Fury of Dracula, doesn't take 3-6 hours to play. And Plaid Hat Games' plans to bring an app to the game to facilitate the agent's movement are more than positive.

Specter ops se snažilo nahradit mezeru, kterou na deskoherním trhu zanechal Fury of Dracula (2nd ed.). Deskovka, ve které 1-4 hráči honí po mapě skrytého oponenta. Každý z hráčů oplývá speciálními schopnostmi, a kde každá je bez výjimky zajímavá. Každý z hráčů mění pravidla hry takovým způsobem, že složení agentů a lovců bude diktovat tempo a styl každého tahu. Máte k dispozici čmuchala? Můžete se trochu rozlézt. Máte snipera? Pak je třeba pohlídat si každou křižovatku. Speciální schopnosti agenta hru taktéž obohacují a transformují . Hrajete proti nindžovi? Radši se držte dále. Hrajete proti gorile? Je potřeba hodně si pospíšit a poranit agenta co nejdříve, neboť jinak riskujete, že mezi Vámi v posledních fázích hry zkrátka proběhne, střely nestřely. Specter ops je ideální hidden-movement game, které oproti Letters of Whitechappel dodává speciální schopnosti a oproti nově vydanému Fury of Dracula, netrvá 3-6 hodin. A plány Plaid Hat games přinést do hry aplikaci na usnadnění agentova pohybu jsou více než pozitivní.

A pleasant cyberpunk experience. Playing on either side has its own specifics and sends a chill down your spine, whether you're an agent or a hunter.

Top-notch component quality.

Přijemná kyberpunková záležitost. Hraní za každou stranu má svá specifika a dokáže příjemně zamrazit, ať už jste agent nebo lovec.
