Spartacus

Spartacus is a military-political game for two players set in the Roman Republic. One player takes command of the Republic led by Sulla, while the other leads the rebellious Quintus Sertorius. Civil war tears Rome apart, and both players fight to claim victory. The game uses a point-to-point movement system and card-driven actions. While Sertorius tries to force the Republic to collapse by pushing the crisis track upward, the Republican player must balance their moves to delay the crisis, prevent their opponent from allying with Mithridates, and defend against Spartacus's uprising. Spartacus is an engaging and well-crafted game for history buffs.
