I bought it years ago, only back then it was blackened and had 4 holes. A solid piece of metal that can take a beating. Suitable for historical fencing too (and I don't mean HMB). I don't know what was meant by a weld, as there isn't one there.
It doesn't seem sharp-edged to me, and even if it were, this is a shield component - not the shield itself.

Kupoval jsem ji před léty, akorát byla černěná a měla 4 dírky. Poctivý kus kovu, který snese hodně. Vhodá i pro historický šerm (tím nemyslím HMB) Nevím, co bylo myšleno svárem, který tam není.
Ostré hrany mi nepřijdou a i kdyby, tohle je součást štítu - ne štít samotný

I would appreciate it if the weld marks were masked somehow, and I also had trouble with the mounting holes for the shield. Not everyone has the equipment for that. Otherwise, it's a nice, lightweight, and quite sturdy umbo.

Uvítal bych kdyby byly nějak zamaskované stopy po sváru a taky jsem měl problém s otvory pro připevnění ke štítu. Ne každý má na to vybavení. Jinak pěkné, lehké a dost pevné umbo.

Tato poklice je velmi lehká a nemění skoro váhu štíu ale dávám jen čtyři hvězičky protože neměl obroušené hrany byly ostré jinak cena je velmi příznivá.
