Description
Harry Dresden, the only wizard in the phone book, has recently and rather reluctantly become a Warden of the White Council. A tough task awaits him: he must verify rumors of black magic being practiced in Chicago and help the daughter of a long-time friend.
Insane and cruel creatures from horror movies, feeding on the fear of their victims, are tearing through Chicago. Harry launches a dangerous investigation. Although he eventually manages to save what can be saved and risks his life to gain an apprentice, he realizes that powerful forces, of which he had no inkling even as a wizard, are being set in motion. The events of recent years are starting to fall into place, and against a backdrop of intrigue, the war between the White Council and the Red Court is intensifying.

Another installment in the Harry Dresden wizard series. It's very well-written again, but it feels a bit weaker compared to the previous books. Still, I'd recommend it.
Další díl ze série o čarodějovi Harrym Dresdenovi. Je opět velmi dobře napsán, ale oproti minulým dílům se mi zdá trochu slabší. Přesto bych ho doporučil.
