Plasti Dip (black) is a highly flexible synthetic rubber coating used (among other things) for finishing cosplay materials, such as EVA foam. It fills gaps and smooths out imperfections. Plasti Dip remains flexible and increases surface durability. The result is a rubberized finish that mimics the look of black leather.
Shake the spray well before use and apply from a distance of 15 - 25 cm. For best results, apply at least 3 - 4 layers, allowing the surface to dry for at least half an hour between each coat. Complete curing takes about 4 hours. We recommend working with Plasti Dip in a well-ventilated area while wearing a protective mask.

Plasti Dip has an interesting smell, but it's easier to work with than it seems. You just need to take your time. My plasti-dipped costume pieces survived their first Comic Con in Brno this weekend completely unscathed! PD is great not only as a primer (you need at least 2-3 layers), but also if you want to mimic a leather surface – highly recommended ;)
Plasti Dip má zajímavou vůni, ale práce s ním je snazší, než se zdá. Chce to jen nespěchat. Moje plastidipované kousky kostýmu o víkendu prožily první Comic Con v Brně a zcela bez úhony! PD je skvělý nejen jako primer (alespoň 2-3 vrstvy jsou třeba), ale i pokud chcete napodobit kožený povrch - vřele doporučuji ;)
