Black version of the Kapa board.

It's a bit more expensive than the white one, but if you love black or your game's other plastic inserts are black, it's the obvious choice. What surprised me at first is that, unlike the white version, it's not smooth but rather textured. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it dulled my blades less than the white one. Also, thanks to the textured surface, it glued together better with rigid glue, and foam stuck to paper well using liquid PVA glue. Sanding and trimming with a file works great again, pencil marks hold beautifully on the surface, so measuring, sketching, and cutting are perfect once more.

For me, the investment was worth it.

Je sice trošku dražší, než ta bílá, ale když máte rádi černou, nebo ostatní plastové inserty Vaší hry jsou černé, je to jasná volba. Co mě prvně překvapilo, že oproti bílé není hladká, ale spíše drsná. Mile mě však překvapilo, že oproti bílé mi míň tupila nože. Taktéž díky drsnému povrchu se lépe k sobě lepila tuhým lepidlem, ale i pěnou k papíru pomocí tekutého herkulesu. Broušení a zarovnávání pilníkem jde opět velmi dobře, ružka na povrchu drží taky krásně, a tak vyměřování, rýsování a řezání je opět perfektní.

Za mě se investice vyplatila.

The perfect material for my board game inserts. It's sturdy, lightweight, and easy to cut with a utility knife. Use standard PVA glue to stick it together.

Pro mě ideální materiál na inserty do her. Pevný, lehký, dobře se řeže lámacím nožem. Pro lepení stačí obyčejný Herkules.
