Firefly: Pirates & Bounty Hunters

A must-have expansion for Firefly: The Game. It deepens player interaction and introduces new pirate jobs that let you raid other players' ships. Bounty cards require you to track down fugitives and deliver them to specific locations. Plus, you get 2 new ships: the "S.S. Walden" (a slow ship with a large cargo capacity) and the "Interceptor" (a fast ship designed for chasing down fugitives).

Karty odmen, ktere vyzaduji dopadeni uprchlika a jeho doruceni na pozadovane misto. Dale pak 2 nove lode "S.S. Walden" (pomala lod s velkou prepravni kapacitou) a "Interceptor" (rychla lod, urcena ke stihani uprchliku).

This expansion is undoubtedly the best thing that could have happened to the Firefly board game. It deepens player interaction and makes it clear to everyone that no one is safe, not even in the most remote corner of the Verse! From time to time, bounties are placed on the heads of certain wanted individuals, and players can try to capture them on a planet or, in the tougher scenario, snatch them from another player. For example, the bounty on River is truly massive, but it's a highly immoral act, and I judge you all in advance for it! Contracts now include pirate activities for robbing other players – which again ends in a shootout between players. The expansion also adds new ship types to the game, giving players a choice between a super-freighter capable of carrying HEAVY LOADs or, conversely, a ship built for bounty hunters (fast). The rest of the box is rounded out with new purchase cards for existing dealers – mostly cards related to Player vs. Player themes. And, of course, you'll also find a new series of scenarios here.

Toto rozšíření je bezpochyby to nejlepší s čím Firefly deskovka mohla přijít. Prohlubuje to interakci mezi hráči a každému dává jasně najevo, že nikdo není v bezpečí ani v tom nejzapadlejším koutu Versu! Na hlavu některých hledaných jsou čas od času vypsány odměny a hráči se je mohou snažit buď odchytnout na nějaké planetě, nebo v tom těžším případě uzmout od nějakého hráče. Například odměna za River je opravdu veliká, ale jde o prudce nemorální akci a už předem vás za to všechny odsuzuji! Kontrakty v sobě mají nyní i pirátské aktivity na loupení od ostatních hráčů - to opět končí přestřelkou mezi hráči. Rozšíření do hry přidává i nové typy lodí a hráči tak mají na výběr mezi super nákladní lodí schopnou vozit i HEAVY LOADy a nebo naopak lodí jako stvořenou pro lovce lidí (rychlá). Zbytek krabice je ještě doplněn o nové karty nákupů u stávajích prodejců - většinou jde o karty spojené s Hráč vs. Hráč tematikou. A samozřejmě tu naleznete i novou sérii scénářů.

Pirates and Bounty Hunters brings a ton of new features to the Firefly game. Perhaps the most important one is that you can now fly ships other than the Firefly class. The S.S. Walden is a ship with plenty of space. It doesn't have a Stash, so you can't hide anything from a quick inspection, but it's perfect for missions like "pick up as much cargo/parts/fuel as possible and drop it off somewhere." It's just a bit slower. In contrast, the Interceptor is a very small ship that doesn't carry much (whether it's cargo or crew), but on the other hand, it can fly really far.

Additionally, the expansion adds the ability to steal things from someone else's ship and rewards for "turning in" wanted crew members.

Pirates and Bounty Hunters přináší do hry Firefly spoustu novinek. Asi nejdůležitější je, že nově můžete lítat i s jinými loděmi než třídy Firefly. S. S. Walden je loď, která má spoustu místa. Neobsahuje žádnou Stash, takže v ní nic neschováte před rychlou kontrolou, ale výborně se hodí pro mise typu "naber co nejvíc cargo/parts/fuel a někde to vylož". Jen je trochu pomalejší. Oproti tomu Interceptor je velice malá lodička, která nic moc neunese (ať už jde o věci nebo posádku), ale na druhou stranu s ní doletíte fakt daleko.

Rozšíření navíc přidává možnost krást někomu něco z lodě a taky odměny pro "odevzdání" hledaných členů posádky.
