Firefly: Blue Sun

This expansion doesn't shy away from disrupting your safety, adding two more Reaver ships to the game. To make matters worse, new Verse travel cards now include a note to add a presence token to the current location of one of the ships. If a player enters this area, there's a chance they'll be immediately attacked by Reavers (the same applies to the Alliance Cruiser). Players also get a new Blue Sun game board, featuring a vast Reaver space and the legendary planet Miranda! Since this isn't Alliance or Border Space, but Rim Space, this area comes with its own set of encounter cards. You'll find a new contractor, a new planet for shopping, and most importantly, the highly imaginative Mr. Universe. He poses as a contractor, but effectively just expands your existing jobs with new challenges to complete. New scenarios and setups are a given.

Toto rozšíření se opět nebojí narušit hráčovo bezpečí a přidává do hry rovnou dvě další lodě Plenitelů. Aby toho nebylo málo, nové karty cestování Versem v sobě teď obsahují poznámku o tom, aby hráč přidal na stávající pozici jedné z lodí žeton přitomnosti a pokud se jeden z hráčů do této oblasti dostane, je šance, že na něj bude okamžitě proveden útok Pleniteli (to samé platí pro alianční křižník). Dále hráči dostanou novou herní plochu Modrého slunce, kde je vcelku rozsáhlý prostor plenitelů a za tím vším legendární planeta Miranda! A protože toto není ani alliance ani border space, ale Rim Space, má tato oblast i vlastní sérii karet setkání. Nachází se zde nový kontraktor, nová planeta k nákupům a hlavně velmi nápaditý Mr. Universe, který se tváří jako kontraktor, ale defakto jen umí rozšířit vaše stávající kšefty o nové výzvy ke splnění. Nové scénáře a setupy jsou samozřejmostí.

The third expansion for the Firefly board game. It brings a new game board, a planet with a shop, and new quests (Mr. Universe). These new quests are challenging because they always attach to another quest. They make things tougher, but the reward is tempting :).

The game also adds 2 new Reaver ships, and a new movement mechanic makes the game more difficult. Without this expansion, I only encountered Reavers about 4 times over several games. This expansion allows Reavers to move across the entire board, making encounters much more frequent. Plus, Reavers leave lures (tokens) behind. If your Firefly enters such a sector, you must resolve the lure before you can continue moving. If you fail to clear the lure, the Reavers arrive immediately.

I recommend this expansion, but I would definitely buy Pirates & Bounty Hunters first, as it allows for more players.

Tretie rozšírenie k hre Firefly. Prínáša nový hrací plán, jednu planétu s obchodom a nové questy (Mr. Universe). Nové questy sú výzvou, pretože sa vždy pridávajú k inému questu. Síce ho tým sťažia, ale odmena je lákavá :).

Hra pridáva aj 2 nové lode Reavrov a nová herná mechanika ich posunu hru sťažuje. Bez rozšírenia som sa s Reavrami stretol v pibehu niekoľkých hier asi len 4 krát. Toto rožírenie umožňuje presun Reavrov cez celý hrací plán, čím sú stretnutia častejšie. Navyše Reavrovia za sebou zanachávajú návnady (žetóny). Ak Firefly vsúpi do takéhoto sektoru musí najskôr vyriešiť návnadu a až potom môže pokračovať v pohybe. Ak sa návnadu nepodarí odhaliť okamžite priletia Reavrovia.

Hru doporučujem, ale rozhodne by som najkôr kúpil Pirates & Bounty Hunters pretože umožňuje pridať viac hráčov.

Unlike the first expansion, Blue Sun doesn't add any new ships. On the other hand, it brings a whole new piece of the universe where Reavers are an everyday occurrence, but you'll also find new items and missions here, making it definitely worth a visit. For fans of the game, this expansion is a clear choice as it adds plenty of new content.

Blue Sun na rozdíl od prvního rozšíření nepřidává žádné nové lodě. Na druhou stranu je v ní celý nový kus vesmíru, ve kterém jsou Reaveři na denním pořádku, ale máte zde nové předměty i úkoly a rozhodně se sem vyplatí letět na obhlídku. Pro fanoušky hry je toto rozšíření jasná volba, protože přidává spoustu novinek.
