Defenders of the Realm: Hero Expansion #3 brings you four new heroes, each with their own miniature and character card. You also get six new global effects cards and three tokens to spice up your base game. Meet the new recruits:

• Feline: This half-cat, half-human warrior shadows any moving Hero or General. She follows them on foot or horseback as they move through areas. Her catlike reflexes and razor-sharp claws make her a formidable defender of the realm.

• Shaman: A master of shape-shifting and magic, the Shaman is a huge asset to any team. His Arrows of Destruction rain doom on minions, while his ability to transform into a Wolf or Bear gives him a massive edge in movement and combat.

• Seeker: Born with the gift of foresight, the Seeker always knows where the next Minion attack will strike and where a General will move. Her sword is deadly because she anticipates every strike, allowing her to use all Special Cards as Battle Luck cards. If she doesn't defeat all enemies, she uses magic to summon illusions that confuse attackers and send them wandering off to other lands.

• Thief: The Thief excels at sneaking behind enemy lines to scout the Dark Lord’s army and swipe battle plans from the General's tent. She isn't the strongest warrior, but her daggers are lethal—especially when there's loot involved. She often interrogates enemies before finishing them off to secure valuable information in the form of Hero Cards.
