Description
Defenders of the Realm: Hero Expansion #2 brings four new heroes, each with a miniature and character card, plus six new global effects cards for your base game. Mix and match these new heroes with your existing collection:
• Healer: Don't let the name fool you; she packs some serious magical punch. She can spend actions to heal three wounds for heroes at her location, including herself—a lifesaver when losing a battle against a General. She also automatically heals one wound to all heroes at the end of her turn if she shares their location. Combine this with her ability to cleanse tainted land using minion energy and her "Walk in the Light" skill to ignore a General's combat abilities, and she becomes an essential team member.
• Druid: A powerhouse in wooded areas (Green Locations) and a master at healing tainted land. His "One with the Earth" ability keeps him safe from enemies in the woods, while his power to summon woodland creatures to attack minions at any Green Location—even from afar—is perfect for keeping Orcs and Imps in check.
• Elf Lord: He knows the secret forest paths, allowing him to travel swiftly across all green locations. His mastery of Elf Magic lets him re-roll one die each round for himself or his allies. With his ability to ambush minions and Generals, he stands as a formidable warrior defending the realm.
• Monk: A wanderer on a sacred quest, the Monk has mastered the Martial Arts to unleash a flurry of staff blows on any unfortunate minions or Generals in her path. She uses that same training to bolster her defense. Her spiritual discipline and nomadic nature grant her an extra quest opportunity, as she always holds two Quest Cards.
