When everything else "looks" period-accurate, a plastic cap really ruins the vibe. I can "taste" the leather when I drink, but there's a light-colored liner inside, probably for hygiene reasons. It's likely just the taste of that liner. :)

Když už vše "vypadá" dobově, tak to opravdu hyzdí plastový uzávěr. Při napití "cítím" pachuť kůže, ale uvnitř je světlá fólie, která je tam pravděpodobně z hygienických důvodů. Ale asi je to spíš pachuť té fólie. :)

It's quite large and looks authentic, despite some plastic parts.
However, I'm bothered by the "plastic taste" of the water.
Also, after carrying it for a few hours, the strap starts digging into my shoulder; naturally, it gets a bit heavy due to its large capacity.

Vadí mi ale "plastová chuť" vody.
A také, že po pár hodinách nošení, začne hodně řezat do ramene, samozřejmě kvůli jeho velkému objemu se trochu pronese.

The product itself isn't bad, the 2-liter capacity is great, and it's easy to take along to various events. The bladder didn't bother me around my neck at all; it was comfortable to wear with a historical costume.

The only issue I have with it is that after a while, the water in the bladder starts to taste like plastic, even though I've washed it several times.

Otherwise, it's a great product.

Produkt ako taký nie je zlý, kapacita 2 litre je super a pri rôznych akciách sa to dá zobrať so sebou. Vak mi nejako na krku neprekážal, nosil sa príjemne na historickom kostýme.

Jediný problém, ktorý s ním mám je, že voda po čase vo vaku chytí takú plastovú chuť a to bol vak niekoľkokrát umývaný.

It's a pretty decent waterskin to start with. I don't mind the plastic cap that much, but I didn't like the capacity marking right in the middle on the side. It was an eyesore until it got a bit dirty.

The capacity is extreme, and it gets quite heavy when full. Thanks to the plastic liner inside, it can handle sweet drinks too, provided you wash it properly and regularly, though water is obviously ideal.

I've had it for six years now, and only this year did a problem arise where the plastic neck under the cap detached from the leather. A repair wouldn't be difficult, but I've switched to a canteen.

Pro začátek je to celkem slušný měch. Plastový uzávěr mi úplně nevadí, spíš se mi nelíbilo označení kapacity na straně přímo uprostřed. Než se trochu zašpinil, bilo to do očí.

Kapacita je až extrémní a plný se celkem pronese. Díky plastovému vaku uvnitř snese i nějaký ten sladký nápoj, samozřejmě za předpokladu, že se řádně a včas vymyje, ideální je samozřejmě používat na vodu.

Mám ho teď šestým rokem až letos se projevil problém, kdy se plastové hrdlo pod uzávěrem odlepilo od kůže. Oprava by nebyla těžká, ale přešel jsem na čutoru.

I po umytí kůže trochu zapáchá ale jinak není co vytknout, funkci splňuje na výbornou.

The 2-liter capacity is great for the price, the reservoir is comfortable to carry, and despite the plastic closure parts, it looks great. My only "complaint" is the plastic taste of the water, which other colleagues have also mentioned here.
Rinsing it several times in hot water helped me, but it's not 100% yet. I'll give it a few more rinses and hopefully get rid of the aftertaste. Perfect for traveling! :)

2 litry objemu jsou v poměru k ceně skvělé, měch se dobře nosí a i přes plastové části uzavírání vypadá krásně. Jediná "výtka" je snad plastová chuť vody, kterou tady zmiňují i ostatní kolegové.
Mně pomohlo několikrát propláchnout v horké vodě, ještě to ale není stoprocentní, vidím to na dalších pár proplachů a snad se pachutě zbavím. Na cestování perfektní! :)

It works great for a LARP costume or something similar.
I don't recommend it for hiking, camping, or long treks.
If you put alcohol in it, the water you carry later will have a permanent alcoholic "aftertaste." (Mead is recommended :)

Ke kostýmu na na LARP, nebo něco podobného klidně může být.
Na hory, čundry a puťáky nedoporučuji.
Při vložení alkoholu dáte následné vodě v čutoře trvalý "ocas" alkoholu. (Mědovina doporučena :)

Vypadá docela hezky, až na plastové části, které by někomu nemusely vyhovovat. Voda má trošku pachuť plastu. Použil jsem ho několikrát a zatím neteče ;)
