Drinking Horn 0.4 l

This horn is truly luxurious. The colors are great and the shape is awesome too. :)

I would have expected the rim of a drinking horn to be rounded since you put it to your mouth, but it isn't. It's flat and the edges are quite sharp. It doesn't bother me much, though; it's sold as a replica and that's how I'll use it (mostly it will be displayed in my 'beer glass' collection), so I'm completely satisfied.

Rinsing it out, which is discussed here, is a given for me, even if it were Chinese porcelain, let alone a cow horn. But fair enough. :) There was definitely a lot of dust inside (like from sanding), so you should definitely rinse it. Simply beautiful. :)

Roh je opravdu luxusní. Přišel mi pěkně barevný, i tvar je super. :)

Čekal bych u rohu na pití, že bude hrana zaoblená, když si ji člověk vkládá do úst, ale není. Je plochá a hrany jsou docela ostré. Moc mi to ale nevadí, je prodávaný jako replika, jako replika bude i používán (hlavně tedy bude vystaven v mé sbírce 'pivního skla'), takže naprostá spokojenost.

Vypláchnutí, o kterém se tady diskutuje, považuji za samozřejmost, i kdyby to byl čínský porcelán, ne tak kraví roh. Ale budiž. :) Rozhodně bylo uvnitř dost prachu (jako od broušení), takže určitě vypláchnout. Prostě krása. :)

Tak musíte se smířit s tím, že ho nepostavíte. To ovšem bylo ve středověku bráno jako výhoda a bylo to úmyslné: nikdo vám nemohl otrávit chlast.

The horn has a nice thick wall. After washing it with water and drinking mead from it, any slight smell was completely gone. It arrived in a beautiful color combination (half white, half black).

Roh má dosť hrubú stenu, po vymytí vodou a následnom pití medoviny z mierneho zápachu neostalo nič. Prišiel mi v nádhernej farebnej kombinácií (polovica biela polovica čierna).

Hi, I just received the horn and I'm completely satisfied with it. I have a question about how it handles winter weather, specifically if it cracks or anything like that. I'd also like to know if it's necessary to disinfect the horn in any way. Thanks for the reply.

Fantasyobchod: Winter weather shouldn't harm the horn at all. As for disinfection, it certainly won't hurt; you can use strong alcohol or even something like Kofola before the first use.

Dobrý den, právě jsem obdržel roh a jsem sním plně spokojený. Mám jen dotaz, jak reaguje třeba na zimní počasí, jestli nepraská apod. Také by mě zajímalo, jestli je utné roh nějakým způsobem dezinfikovat. Děkuji za odpověd.

Fantasyobchod: rohu by zimní počasí neměli nijak ublížit, co se týče dezinfekce, určitě to ničemu neuškodí, můžete před prvním použitím použít silnější alkohol nebo třebas kofolu.

The horn I bought with the stand is awesome, amazing, and divine. Of course, it doesn't fit perfectly, but that's the least of my worries. Otherwise, I'm thrilled.

Roh co jsem si zakoupil i se stojánkem je parádní úžasný a boží. Samozřejmě že to nesedí přesně ale to je to nejmenší. Ale jinak ksem nadšen.
