Tokaido (Polish version) is a board game that puts you in the shoes of a traveler on one of Japan's most magnificent routes – the East Sea Road. Along the way, you'll meet new people, collect beautiful items, discover stunning views, visit temples, and explore hidden gems. At the end of the journey, when everyone gathers at the finish line, you'll find out who was the best explorer – meaning who discovered the most interesting and diverse things.

All actions in Tokaido take place on a linear game board. The player currently in the last position takes their turn, moving forward to perform an action. You must decide whether to move slowly to get more turns or rush ahead to claim specific action spaces before your opponents.

Action spaces offer various activities with different rewards. Some allow you to collect money, while others let you trade money for victory points. Some spaces let you exchange collected items for points, while others reward you simply for stopping there or grant you a random action.

All actions in Tokaido are simple and feature unique graphic designs. The entire game radiates a calm, Zen atmosphere.
