On July 21, 1861, fresh and inexperienced armies of the North and South clashed in the first battle of the American Civil War. In the wargame Test of Fire: Bull Run 1861, one player takes on the role of Confederate General Beauregard defending Virginia, while the other, as Union General Irvin McDowell, tries to crush the Southern rebellion and reunite the nation.
