Welcome to Saqqara (Egypt), the year is 2125 BC, just before the uprising in Heracleopolis.

Saqqara takes you to ancient Egypt during a time of chaos and rebellion. The game requires bluffing, but you will also need to plan and think carefully. You take on the role of an Egyptian noble, participating in the governance and economy of this ancient empire. Your merchants will trade goods at the market, you will develop your province, recruit workers to build pyramids, and acquire fertile land along the banks of the Nile. The player whose province achieves the greatest development becomes the new ruler of Egypt.

Watch out for beggars, thieves, and the cunning bluffs of rulers from other provinces. They want the same thing as you: power over Egypt.
