Santiago

A few miles west of the African mainland lie the Cape Verde Islands, home to the island of Santiago. The climate is scorching, and every drop of water is precious. In this game, you play as a plantation owner, outbidding your rivals to secure plantations for various crops—bananas, sugar cane, potatoes, beans, or red peppers. You must quickly connect your plantations to an irrigation canal system, or they will wither and your entire harvest will be lost. The player who most efficiently acquires, connects, and irrigates their plantations wins the game.

Game contents: 110 crop tiles, 45 plantation tiles, 15 blue canal tiles, 5 canal proposal markers, 3 palm trees, 1 water source, 1 overseer, game board, game currency, and rules.
