In the game Québec, you become the head of a powerful family aiming to make history by building the city of Québec. The game spans four centuries, during which you have the chance to construct the city's most important and iconic buildings. However, building alone isn't enough to win; you must also gain sufficient influence in key power spheres. To do this, you utilize politics, trade, and culture.

Throughout each century, you perform actions over five to seven rounds, choosing one of the following each turn:

• 1. Start building a new structure with your architect
• 2. Complete a section of a building
• 3. Send your worker to a sphere of influence
• 4. Take a leadership card

At the end of each century, a scoring round takes place where players receive victory points based on how well they have occupied the five spheres of influence. Québec introduces a new cascade mechanism, where a player controlling one sphere can send some workers to the next, earning additional victory points! You must skillfully balance building construction with gaining influence. The game ends after the fourth century, and the player with the most victory points wins.
