Puerto Rico - Anniversary Edition

Puerto Rico is a hit economic strategy game that has won numerous awards from both players and critics alike. Now, to celebrate its tenth anniversary, it arrives in a luxurious anniversary edition. Inside, you'll find beautiful, colorful building tiles, higher-quality cardboard, and larger colonist tokens, along with 60 metal coins and wooden goods shaped like actual crates. The box also includes both previously released expansions.

In this game, you become a 16th-century plantation owner in Puerto Rico. Ships arrive to buy your produce: corn, indigo, coffee, sugar, and tobacco. Your goal is to grow, process, and trade these goods more effectively than your opponents.

The game offers great strategic variety with very little reliance on luck. It focuses on your ability to combine actions—your move might help not only you but also your opponents, so you must constantly weigh what is most beneficial for you and what will hinder others.

The game is in German (building tiles have German names), but Czech rules are available for download.
