Very nice design and comfortable to walk in, but buy them 1-2 sizes larger. I bought my usual size and they are just barely fitting :)

I've had these boots since 2018 (it's almost mid-2022). I ordered a size smaller, assuming the leather would stretch and soften a bit, which it did. It probably depends on your feet, but it paid off for me and they fit really well. They've been through hell and back with me over the years and are still holding up great! Keep in mind that the leather is relatively thin and soft, so you can easily stub your little toe, but you'll quickly learn how to walk in them (even with that pointed toe). So, unless you're going to top-tier events where you need perfect accuracy, these are a great choice and offer the best value for money! Back then they were around two thousand (2200? Maybe...). But for the price, you get a lot of bang for your buck with these tall boots; they still look good after all these years and the patina really suits them. The only downside is the inside of the boot – the leather is super slippery, so don't be afraid to buy any kind of insoles and throw them in, your feet will thank you! I highly recommend them as an alternative to boots twice the price, I'd give them ten out of ten (on my feet, or twenty out of twenty with my hands). They are absolutely amazing unless you're a stickler for costume accuracy (I mean LH/LF, though they look nice on their own and definitely don't look out of place).

• you really want tall socks, the leather sticks to sweaty calves
• the inner sole is leather and slippery, you need insoles, but any kind will do
• the lacing is a nightmare... it holds great, but you'll grow a beard down to your waist before you get both boots on/off

Tyhle botky mám už od roku 2018 (je skoro půlka 2022). Objednal jsem o číslo menší, protože jsem předpokládal, že se kůže trochu roztáhne a změkne, což se stalo. Asi záleží na každé noze, mě se to vyplatilo a sedí mi fakt dobře. Za ty roky se mnou prožily hrozný zvěrstva a parádně drží! Mějte na paměti, že kůže je poměrně tenká a měkká, takže si můžete skopnout malíček jak nic, ale za chvíli se to naučíte, jak chodit (o s tou zahlou špičkou). Takže pokud nejezdíte fakt top akce, kde chcete akurátnost, tak tohle je skvělá volba a nejlepší poměr cena/výkon! Tehdá byly za něco okolo dvou tisíc (2200? Asi…). Ale za málo peněz na vysoký boty je to opravdu hooodně muziky, vypadají dobře i po letech a patina jim velmi sluší. Co vidím jako nevýhodu je vnitřek boty - ta kůže hrozně klouže, fakt se nebojte koupit si jakýkoli vložky do bot a hodit si je dovnitř, nohy vám poďekují! Jako alternativu k botám často 2x dražším fakt doporučuju, všema deseti (na nohách, s rukama všema dvaceti), jsou naprosto úžasný, pokud nejste nároční na kostým (myslím LH/LF, samy o sobě vypadají hezky, rozhodně neruší).

• zevnitř boty je stélka z kůže, ta klouže, chce to vložky, ale stačí jakýkoli
• šněrování je peklo… sice skvěle drží, ale narostou vám vousy po pás, než obujete/vyzujete obě boty

I've had these boots for about 3 months now and have no complaints, though lacing them up takes a bit longer. I recommend buying them 2 sizes larger – since you lace them all the way up, a slight difference in size doesn't really matter.

Boty mám už asi 3 měsíce a nejde si na nic stěžovat jenom trochu déle trvá šněrování. Boty si raději kupte o 2 čísla větší - když se šněrují po celé délce na malé odchylce u velikosti nesejde.

You won't find cheaper high boots. They look great, unless you're planning to play a noble, a lord, or some other rich character. As the name suggests, they are truly best for a wanderer.
However, if you plan on going for long walks, you should invest more. Your foot moves around quite a bit inside, which you can solve with greaves, for example. In terms of price-performance ratio, these boots are awesome.

Levnější vysoké boty neseženete. Vypadají dobře, pokud se nechystáte hrát šlechtice, lorda nebo jiného boháče. Jak už název napovídá, nejlepší jsou skutečně pro poutníka.
Pokud ale plánujete chodit na dlouhé boty, měli byste zainvestovat víc. Noha v botech poměrně plandá, což se dá vyřešit třeba náholeníky. V poměru cena/výkon jsou boty parádní.

The boots look nice. I bought size 45 for my 44.5 feet, which is the only issue. I can barely fit into them. Otherwise, they are comfortable and will be great for an event.

Boty vypadají pěkně. Koupil jsem velikost 45 na nohu 44,5 což je jediný problém. Stěží se do nich vejdu. Jinak jsou příjemné a na nějakou tu akci budou fajn.

I've had these boots for a few years now, they've been through several LARPs with me and they look the part. I wouldn't recommend them for running through the woods, they're better suited for theater or something similar. They're made of very thin material and don't provide much support for my feet. But they do look nice, I'll give them that...

Boty už mám pár let, prošly se mnou několik larpů a podle toho vypadaj. Na běhání po lese je moc nedoporučuju, spíš na nějaký divadlo nebo něco podobnýho. Jsou z hodně tenkýho materiálu a mě moc dobře nedržej na noze. Ale vypadaj hezký, to jo....

Honestly, I don't even know where to start. At first glance, they are beautiful high boots.

I bought the boots a size larger, but since they are made of soft leather, they don't support the foot at all. Even with three pairs of socks, my foot flops around inside like a rubber boot.

Tightening the strap above the ankle helped, but only until I hit rougher terrain.

They are fine on flat ground, but on hills, it was pure Mordor. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to a traveler.

I've come up with a fix and tested it, so the boots work in the field now, even if they don't look as good anymore.

No, popravde nevim kde začít. Na prvni pohled krasné vysoké boty.

Boty sem si koupil o cislo vetsi,cale jak sou z mekke kuze, tak nohu vubec nedrží a i pres troje ponožky v nich noha plandá jak v gumáku.

Pomohlo stahnout reminkem nad kotnikem, ale jen do te doby nez sem sel do tezsiho terenu.

Na rovine sou boty fajn , ale v kopcich to byl mordor. Rozhodne bych je poutnikovi nedoporucil.

Mam vymysleny zlepsovak i otestovany a boty funguji i v terenu i kdyz to uz nevypada tak dobre.

Problem vidim v tom ze sou z moc tenke a mekke kuze.

I've had these boots for about a year now. I haven't used them much, but they're good. As mentioned before, definitely go for a larger size (at least one size up) so they fit. The downside is that the heel isn't reinforced at all, so the boots feel quite loose and can be a bit uncomfortable for walking. I haven't figured out a perfect solution yet, but I guess thicker socks or foot wraps would help.

Boty mám už asi rok a sice jsem je nestačil příliš používat, ale jsou dobré. Jak již tu bylo zmíněno, určitě jděte do větších, abyste se vešly (alespoň tak 1 číslo). Nevýhodu pak vidím v tom, že pata není vůbec vyztužená, takže boty na noze dost plandají a na chození to může být trochu nepříjemné. Ještě jsem nepřišel na to, jak to úplně vyřešit, ale hádám, že by pomohly tlustší ponožky nebo onuce.
