The original Love Letter (in Czech Milostný dopis) was an amazing game consisting of just 16 cards, which was perfectly reflected in its price. This version contains exactly the same thing (16 cards) with the same roles, but it's a visual redesign set in a more masculine-friendly environment, where Batman catches criminals in Gotham (the most valuable card is, of course, the Joker, represented by the princess in the original game).

In terms of gameplay, it's still the same great experience where you'll bluff, murder, and otherwise eliminate your competitors so that you are the one who wins the hand of the beautiful princess—sorry, captures the Joker. Since it's mechanically the same game, everyone can choose for themselves which version they like better, or which one they find less sweet ;-).

Původní Love Letter (česky Milostný dopis) byla úžasná hra obsahující pouhých 16 karet, čemuž plně odpovídala její cena. Tahle hra obsahuje naprosto to stejné (tedy 16 karet) stejných rolí, jde ale o vizuální předělávku do více mužsky-přívětivého prostředí, kdy Batman v Gothamu chytá zločince (nejcenější je samozřejmě Joker, v původní hře představován princeznou).

Herně jde o stále stejně skvělý zážitek, kdy budete blafovat, vraždit a jinak odstraňovat své konkurenty tak, aby jste to byli právě vy, kdo získá ruku krásné princezny, pardon, zajme Jokera. Tím, že jde o mechanicky stejnou hru, může si každý zvolit sám, která verze se mu líbí víc, případně která mu přijde méně sladká ;-).

Great value for money. I wouldn't have thought you could have so much fun with just 16 cards. A simple, fast-paced game with cool comic-style illustrations, perfect for travel or as a filler between bigger games. Highly recommended!

Za málo peněz hodně muziky. Neřekl bych, že z pouhých 16 karet jde zažít tolik zábavy. Jednoduchá, rychlá hra s pěknou komiksovou ilustrací na cesty nebo jako filler mezi většími hrami. Vřele doporučuji!
