Spirit-based dye with a 110ml spray nozzle turns raw leather into a masterpiece. The dye absorbs instantly and allows for smooth shading. The more layers you apply, the darker the leather gets. The natural texture of your armor or bag remains beautifully preserved. Available in multiple shades.
We recommend spreading the dye quickly after application using a brush, cloth, or sponge; it provides excellent coverage and adheres well.
Post-treatment is the key to a perfect result and prevents the dye from rubbing off on your clothes. Since alcohol dries out the leather, simply treat the surface with beeswax or mink oil. This safely fixes the color and gives your gear the necessary suppleness.
Also available in a larger 500 ml bottle.
Warning: This dye is intended for coloring raw leather, such as cowhide, not for human skin! It is suitable for various saddlery and leather goods like belts, bags, etc. Do not use on patent leather.

The dye is tested... I tried it on a cord I bought along with the dye. It absorbs quickly, dries fast, and provides perfect coverage. As I mentioned in my previous review, the only downside is that the bottle leaks around the cap thread. So, here is what I recommend you get before dyeing your leather: sturdy surgical gloves, a sponge for spreading, a leak-proof mat, and something to hang it on after dyeing. I've attached a before and after picture of the dyed leather cord (5 mm thick, 1 m long).
Farba je odskúšaná... testoval som ju na šnúrke, ktorú som zakúpil spolu s farbou. Farba rýchlo vsakuje, rýchlo schne a perfektne kryje. Ako som napísal v predchádzajúcej recenzii, jediné mínus je, že fľaška presakuje okolo závitu uzáveru. Takže čo odporúčam, zabezpečte si ešte pred farbením kože: pevné chirurgické rukavice, hubku na rozotieranie, nepresakujúcu podložku a niečo kam to zavesíte po nafarbení. Prikladám obrázok pred a po zafarbení koženej šnúrky (5 mm hrúbka, 1 m dĺžka)
People here usually comment on how well the dye holds on leather. That's relevant and I'm grateful for it. But my dye just arrived and let me tell you: get some gloves ready if you want to take it out of the package. The dye had leaked and I had to wash it for several minutes just to see the label.
However, I assume this wasn't the seller's fault, but rather the supplier's... On a positive note, the seller anticipated this and packed it separately in a black trash bag (the dye is black), so it didn't stain the other items in the box, only my hands. I'm attaching a photo of how the dye arrived. I'll update the review later on how it works for dyeing.
Ľudia tu najčastejšie komentujú ako farba drží na koži. To je relevantné a som im vďačný. No mne farba práve dorazila a poviem vám: pripravte si rukavice ak ju chcete z balíka vybrať. Farba bola roztečená a musel som ju umývať niekoľko minút aby bolo vidno etiketu.
Predpokladám však, že to nebola chyba predajcu, skôr dodávateľa... Ako plus k tejto téme uvádzam, že to predajca predpokladal a zabalil ju osobitne do čierneho sáčku na smetie(farba je čierna) a tak mi nepofarbila iný tovar, ktorý sa v krabici nachádzal, iba ruky. Prikladám fotku ako farba dorazila. Neskôr doplním recenziu o to, ako sa s farbou farbí.
Absolute luxury for the price. It covers beautifully; half a bottle was enough for two layers on a five-piece shoulder guard. It doesn't wash off your fingers easily, but that's my own fault for not wearing gloves.
Za tu cenu hotový luxus. Krásně kryje, půl lahvičky mi stačilo na dvě vrstvy u pětidílného ramenního chrániče. Sice nejde umýt z prstů, ale to je moje blbost, že nepoužívám rukavice.
It's a dream to paint with. Plus, a little goes a long way. I've painted quite a few things and I've still got more than half the bottle left, so I'm definitely satisfied.
Barví se s ní naprosto suprově. Navíc spotřeba není nijak vysoká. Nabarvil jsem docela dost věcí a pořád mám víc než polovinu lahvičky, takže jednoznačně spokojenost.
I'd been looking for leather dye at a reasonable price and in a sensible quantity for a long time, and I finally found it here. It's great for dyeing various belts and bracers. Just be aware that your fingers get sore after spraying for a long time :-)
Dlouho jsem sháněl barvu na kůži za přijatelnou cenu v rozumném množství a našel jsem ji zde. Na barvení různých pásků a nátepníků je super. Jen po dlouhém rozstřikování bolí prsty :-)
The dye is easy to work with. It absorbs well into the leather, but you'll go through quite a lot of it.
The spray nozzle is completely useless, and one bottle only covers 1 and 1/2 gloves, leaving them patchy anyway.
So, I'm ordering more.
I'd much rather see a 0.5-liter bottle option at a more reasonable price. I don't need a fancy spray bottle.
Otherwise, it's great :)
S barvou se dobře pracuje. Dobře se vpijí do kůže, ale je jí celkem velká spotřeba.
Sprej je zcela k ničemu a 1 lahvička vydá na natření 1 a 1/2 rukavice a ještě flekatě.
Takže objednávám další.
Raději bych viděl balení třeba 0,5 litrů v petce a za rozumnější cenu. Nepotřebuji hezkou lahvičku se sprejem.
Jinak fajn :)
