In this game, you build ships and various buildings in the harbor, unlocking new action options as you play. On each turn, you either collect resources or use the effect of one of the buildings in play. Use your resources to construct buildings or sell them for profit. At the end of each round, you must also provide enough food for your harbor workers. The player who accumulates the most wealth wins.

The box includes the Le Grand Hameau expansion, which features a set of special building cards that can replace or supplement the original buildings. The expansion contains 30 special building cards and 3 corrected cards from the original English edition.
