Joe Dever

Joe Dever was born in 1956 in the small town of Woodford Bridge, Essex. After finishing his studies, he began working as a resident musician at a large London recording studio. In 1977, he went on a business trip to Los Angeles, where he discovered the adventure game Dungeons & Dragons and was instantly hooked. In 1982, he won the American Championship in the game, being the only contestant from Britain. Since then, he has appeared on television, radio, and in newspapers in connection with his hobby. The Lone Wolf series is the most successful of his games set in the mythical world of Magnamund. They are published in many languages and sold all over the world.
