A fast-paced game with high replayability. While it reminds you of Carcassonne, it feels quite different. The mechanic of buying tiles from opponents and the randomized set of goals for each game are great features. Thanks to the simple rules, anyone can learn it in no time.
Rychlá hra s poměrně velkou znovuhratelností. Ikdyž připomíná Carcassonne, dost se od něj liší. Moc pěkný je princip nakupování dílků od soupeřů a sada cílů, která se pro každou hru losuje. Díky krátkým pravidlům se jí snadno naučí každý.
Isle of Skye, winner of this year's Kennerspiel des Jahres, feels like a classic Carcassonne for gamers. Every player builds their own private piece of the island, but that doesn't mean there's a lack of interaction—quite the opposite. You can only get new tiles by buying them from others, and they can buy from you too. The game is very fast-paced, and those 6 rounds fly by in no time. Plus, the game includes 16 scoring tiles, but only 4 are used randomly each time. Every change in scoring dictates a completely new strategy, so no two games are ever the same.
Isle of Skye, výherce letošního Spiel des Jahres pro hráče, připomíná klasiku Carcassonne. Pro hráče. Každý hráč v ní staví svůj soukromý kousek ostrova, ale to neznamená, že by ve hře chyběla interakce, ba právě naopak. Nové dílky můžete získat pouze nakupováním od ostatních, přičemž oni mohou nakupovat od vás. Hra je velmi svižná a těch 6 kol uteče jako nic. Navíc hra obsahuje 16 bodovacích dílků, ale ve hře jsou vždy jen náhodně 4, a každá změna bodování určí zcela novou strategii, takže žádné 2 hry nejsou stejné.
