Horus Heresy

The Horus Heresy board game covers arguably the most fascinating battle in the Warhammer 40000 universe, which is why it thrilled me as a fan of this lore. My girlfriend bought it for me about a year and a quarter ago, and I've had the chance to get to know it thoroughly. The slightly complex rules—to be expected from a game of this scale—don't spoil the experience; instead, they offer great variety in managing your chosen faction in this epic tactical clash.
Each session is highly intense, forcing you to think several moves ahead and anticipate your opponent's actions. A single game takes up pretty much an entire afternoon, remaining gripping from start to finish. The box is a bit large to carry around, but it contains a huge (and I mean huge) game board, plenty of miniatures, and detailed cards.
Compared to other games at a similar price point, it offers excellent value for money.

Desková hra Horus Heresy zpracovává asi nejzajímavější bitvu ze světa Warhammer 40000 a proto mě jako fanouška tohoto univerza nadchla. Hru mi zakoupila přítelkyně asi před rokem a čtvrt a měl jsem možnost se s ní důkladně seznámit. Mírně složitější pravidla, což lze předpokládat u hry podobného rozsahu, dojem nekazí a nabízí velkou variabilitu při řízení zvolené frakce v této velkolepé taktické řeži.
Partie je velmi intenzivní a nutí hráče myslet několik tahů dopředu a předvídat tahy svého soupeře. Odehrání jedné partie trvá v podstatě celé odpoledne a hra je od začátku do konce velmi intenzivní. Krabice je trochu velká pro přenášení, nicméně obsahuje velký (opravdu velký) herní plán, spoustu miniatur a detailních karet.
V porovnání s jinými hrami obdobné ceny poskytuje velmi dobrý poměr obsahu ku ceně.

p.s. Obsahuje příběh "jak to tenkrát vlastně bylo".
