I approached Cursed Child with reservations from the start, fearing it would disappoint me after the amazing HP series. Good thing I did... I would label this book as fan fiction, definitely not a story that should follow HP. I don't want to break down all the reasons here, but the characters don't align with the original series, and above all - there are so many inconsistencies, plot holes, and flaws in the book that every fan is bound to notice... So, I read the script (it only takes a few hours), but it has nothing to do with the series I fell in love with so many years ago. Anyway, I recommend reading it :) The beginning of the story is interesting, and the above is just my personal opinion, so I believe there are those who will enjoy the book.

Ke Cursed Child jsem od začátku přistupovala s rezervou, protože jsem se bála, že mě po úžasné HP sérii zklame. Ještě že tak.. Tuto knihu bych označila za fan fiction, rozhodně ne příběh, který má navazovat na HP. Nechci tady rozebírat všechny důvody, ale charaktery postav se neslučují s původní sérií a co především - v knize je tolik nesrovnalostí, děr a nedokonalostí, kterých si každý fanoušek musí všimnout... Takže jsem scénář přečetla (je to otázka pár hodin), ale s tou sérií, do které jsem se zamilovala před tolika lety, to nemá nic společného. Každopádně doporučuji přečíst :) Začátek příběhu je zajímavý a výše zmíněné je pouze můj osobní názor, takže věřím, že se najdou tací, kterým se kniha bude líbit.
