Description
France '40 is a wargame covering the decisive 10 days of May 1940, when the German army broke through the French line on the Meuse River and headed toward the sea at Abbeville. This bold breakthrough cut off the British Expeditionary Force from its bases in Normandy and encircled the 1st and 7th French Armies in Picardy. The game begins on May 13th, three days after the start of Operation "Case Yellow," when German armored corps managed to reach the Meuse River.
