Five Points: Gangs of New York takes you to mid-19th century New York. Back then, the city was a portrait of poverty, crumbling tenements, rampant crime, decadence, despair, and extortion. Gangs of corrupt politicians ruled the streets, while dance halls overflowed with drunkards and gamblers. Terror gripped New York, and misery reigned supreme.

Five Points is a game about the struggle for political control over Manhattan. As the leader of a powerful political faction, you manipulate gangs, influence politicians, and strive to seize control of the city. Use your resources effectively to gain influence and win elections, allowing you to shape the future of New York. Fail, and you will be nothing more than a footnote in history.
