The absolute best solution if you want to keep kids entertained during a workshop or lecture about the Middle Ages. It works great for adults, too. I found some flint by the creek for striking, and it worked well, though getting a spark does require a bit of skill. Highly recommended.

Absolutně nejlepší řešení, pokud chcete během workshopu nebo přednášky o středověku zabavit děti. Dobře funguje i u dospělých. Pro křesání jsem si u potoka našla křemen, dobře to fungovalo, přestože vykřesání jiskry vyžaduje určitou zručnost. Vřele doporučuji.

Z počátku mi jiskru vykřesat nešlo, chtělo to ale jen trošku cvičení a s křemenem na fotce už se to povedlo. Stačí si jen vyrobit práchno a budu mít základ pro rozdělání ohně, super praktický doplněk ke kostýmu.
Ocílka je ale trochu užší a s mými prsty se tam sotva vejdu, jinak ale opravdu pěkná věc.

I don't see any problem with the fire steel. It just takes a bit of practice, and it sparks so well you'll be setting your calves on fire. I recommend using some finger protection (maybe mine are just too big). However, the fire steel has proven itself.

Nevidím v křesadle problém. Chce to jen trochu cviku a křesá to tak, že se vám budou zapalovat lýtka. Doporučuji při použití něco na ochranu prstů(mé jsou možná jen příliš velké). Nicméně křesadlo se osvědčilo.

Nice fire steel, I had to try it out right away. You don't even need to strike it that hard; often, just a gentle tap or the right scrape against the stone is enough (works with both quartz and flint). Then you just need to catch the spark. Just a heads-up, I didn't receive the fire steel shown in the picture, but the one sold with the pouch. It doesn't matter at all, I think this one fits the hand perfectly. I slide it over 4 fingers and it sparks like a dream :)

Pěkné křesadlo, hned jsem ho musela vyzkoušet. Není ani třeba dávat takové rány, kolikrát stačí do kamene jen drcnout nebo se o něj křesadlem správně otřít (i u křemene, i u pazourku). A pak už jen chytit jiskru. Jen dodávám, že mi nepřišlo křesadlo na obrázku, ale to, které se prodává s váčkem. Vůbec nevadí, myslím že toto padne skvěle do ruky. Nasadím si ho přes 4 prsty a křeše jedna báseň :)
