It adds a separate bazaar board where artifact cards are revealed, forcing players to strategize a bit more, along with large resource tokens that are actually quite funny. The replacement involves recruit and market cards, as you don't use the original ones at all. An interesting addition here are several recruits that don't belong to any faction. Overall, it's a great choice if you play often and need to swap out recruits and markets from time to time. The changes aim for better balance through slight rule tweaks—for example, you can use a sticker on tunnels to shorten your path in smaller player counts, or pay with morale when placing additional workers of the same knowledge in a single turn. I'd buy it again, but I'm giving it 4 stars because Ignorance is Bliss is an expansion in the unconventional sense of the word.

Ignorance is Bliss v původní hře některé prvky nejen rozšiřuje, ale také alternuje nebo úplně mění. Do šířky je přidána samostatná deska bazaru, kde se odhalují karty artefaktů a hráče nutí trochu taktizovat nebo velké žetony surovin, které jsou i vtipné. Záměna spočívá v kartách rekrutů a trhů, kdy s původními se vůbec nehraje. Zde je zajímavostí několik rekrutů, kteří nenáleží žádné frakci. Celkově je to fajn, pokud hrajete často a potřebujete občas rekruty i trhy obměnit. Změny jsou provedené za účelem lepšího vybalancování díky mírným úpravám pravidel, kdy např. nálepkou na tunely si zkrátíte cestu v menším počtu hráčů nebo za umisťování dalších dělníků stejných vědomostí v jednom tahu platíte morálkou. Koupil bych znovu, ale dávám 4 hvězdy, protože Ignorance is Bliss je takové rozšíření v nepravém slova smyslu.
